One of very few independent wineries in this hot, arid region, Domaine Félines Jourdan—bought by the Jourdan family in 1983—is situated in Mèze, near the Bassin de Thau, right on the Mediterranean between Montpellier and Narbonne.
The Jourdans have 100 hectares of vines divided over three different parcels: Félines, directly against the Mediterranean; Les Cadastres, two kilometers to the north on a plateau; and La Coulette, three kilometers further north, protected by the surrounding forest. The vineyards benefit from cool marine breezes, ensuring the quality of the wines.
The winery has modern flourishes to help achieve traditional results. Everything possible is done to pick grapes at full phenolic ripeness and then retain the precise and lively fruit flavors with gentle pneumatic pressing and cool fermentations in stainless steel.
