Located in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Holloran Vineyard Wines is a small production label focusing on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling carefully made following Old World traditions.
Proprietor Bill Holloran and Winemaker Mark LaGasse allow the unique characteristics of each vintage and each vineyard to shine through, emphasizing the purity of flavors, instead of striving for maximum extraction and “big” flavors.
Vineyard Manager Vincente Mora respects the needs of each vineyard—sustainable farming is informed by organic and biodynamic methods. These vineyard practices encourage deeper roots and better ripening and give access to different mineral layers in the soils. Biodynamic farming encourages complexity with deeper mid-palate flavors.
The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines are barrel-aged in French oak for 18 months. They are typically bottled unfined and unfiltered, to preserve their individual character and flavor.
