François Huré studied enology in Dijon and worked at de Montille, in Burgundy, and in New Zealand before returning home to Champagne in 2008. He took the winemaking reins from his father at the family’s 10-hectare estate based in the northern Montagne de Reims village of Ludes.
François’ experience has served him well in rethinking and refining the focused cuvées that mark the Huré style today. Each of the wines is distinctive in its own way, but of particular note is the Mémoire, for which the base wine is drawn from 30+ vintages in a solera dating back to 1982.
